mkdir ~/.config/autostart
touch ~/.config/autostart/matchbox-keyboard.desktop


Then open the matchbox-keyboard.desktop file in your preferred editor (the .config folder is hidden so you may need to turn on show hidden files if you are looking in file manager) and add the details.
