 VHD - Is Limited to 2TB.
VHDX - Is to allow the image to break to 2TB limit.

VBoxManage.exe clonehd "PATH_TO_YOUR_FILE.VHDX" --format VHD "PATH_TO_CONVERTED_FILE.vhd"

VBoxManage.exe is part of Oracles VirtualBox.
